This is Eddie's final contemporary release on Vee-Jay and it's an odd side - split equally between some pretty intensive small group work and then some jarring jazz vocal/'jazz with voices' experimentation which was in vogue at the time, but has not aged well. Side B has remained unreleased in the CD era, but the vocal version of Exodus, Eddie's biggest (instrumental) hit is kinda intriguing. Good fidelity from the original Mono Vee-Jay vinyl.

Wow. Like Bill said here the other day, I thought I had most if not all of Eddie's material from this period. These last three uploads have caused me to realize that I did not. These are some of the most exciting things I've come across in a long time. Thanks so much.
