This side really shouldn't work - a jazz version of Breakfast at Tiffany's? - but Eddie and his sidemen really elevate this pretty pedestrian pop material. Killer hooks - and Chicago legends Joe Diorio on guitar and Charles Stepney on Vibes are great here. Good fidelity from the original Mono Vee-Jay vinyl.

Only recently have i become aware of Joe Diorio through some beautiful sessions as a leader from the 1990s. Had no idea the guy played with Harris in the 1960s.
