Long a rather neglected entry in the Prestige discographical canon, this is essentially a compilation of everything the Seegers recorded for the subsidiary of Prestige International , albeit repackaged very nicely in an impressive gatefold jacket for the main jazz 7000 series in 1965. Less folk than American roots music, this music is timeless.
