Jazz meets the Cold War! If Impulse had the Russian Jazz Quartet, Vee Jay actually had the real thing! This side is way outside my usual comfort zone (European Jazz) so I can't comment on its merits/non-merits but it sounds intriguing, albeit a bit derivative of Miles' Sketches period.
