Here's more interesting stuff from the Prestige International archives courtesy of Yaffa Yarknoni! Yarkoni who passed away just this year, was a famous Israeli singer. Here she is paired with some real jazz pros - Walter Raim, Juan Amalbert of the Latin Jazz Quintet.

The arrangements are nice, everything is impeccably recorded by Rudy Van Gelder, but the material is strictly in the 'pop' vein for a rather specialized audience: the Jewish American community. The completist in me loves accumulating these "odd ball, orphan sides" for my collection, but I admit this stuff has a rather limited appeal.
