Here's another quite obscure but intriguing entry in the wonderful Prestige International catalog: Ruth Ben-Zvi's Israeli Percussion!  This side has the feel of a somewhat austere formal classical music recital with some quite beautiful instrumental ensemble passages - quite a departure from the cheesy ethnic folk music of the early 1960s period of which I was expecting! For other examples of 'Jewish' music on the Prestige imprint, see my previous postings of sides by  Yaffa Yarkoni and my friend Tossi Aaron from the INT 13000 series.
